UVM Chapter of NSCS

About Us:

NSCS is a group dedicated to academic excellence and community involvement.
As the UVM chapter of NSCS we volunteer our time throughout the community to
help others. Last semester we volunteered at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen,
cleaned community gardens, and collected food items for a food drive among many
others things. This year we are planning many more exciting events and would
love to get as many members involved as possible. Because our group is a recent
addition to the University of Vermont community we are striving to make our
presence known.

Our goal is to commit ourselves to volunteer work within the community, and
give back to the greater Burlington area in which we live. As students of the
University, we become part of the ever changing landscape of Burlington, and
although we may be here for a small amount of time we should leave Burlington
as beautiful or even more so as when we arrived.
